I am a sophomore at Kaplan University, presuming a
Bachelor of Science in Communication. Since starting my education here at
Kaplan University it has been a world wind of an experience. At Kaplan
University I have had the opportunity to interact online with individuals that
I would have never had the chance to meet or communicate with. Throughout my
time at Kaplan University all of the professors and students I have interacted
with have all been very engaging and easy to communicate with. I am so bless
that in this day and age we, as a society, have online learning, because if it
was not for online universities, then I probably would not be in school today.
I also am thankful for the digital tools we have
available today, like Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and even email, which all can
keep friends and family connected. Digital tools are a prime resource for
building networks. Once you build your network, then networking is the key to
professional development. We can all explore how to network using the latest
digital communication channels to stay connected with each other after
graduation.
We, as Kaplan alumni, need to establish reasons to
stay connected and to keep coming back to our digital presence by each of us
making at least one post a week to the team. I would like to let my audience
know that I am a part of the channel and I look forward to connecting with each
and every one of you on a weekly basis. We can stay connected each week by
someone posting a question, any question, and we will respond.
